Outline (in English)
The primary objective of this class is to cultivate proficient study habits and strategies towards a lifelong journey for acquiring the "ability to learn anything" through exploring all aspects of the English language, including the four language skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing, while establishing a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

このクラスの主な目的は、文法、語彙、発音の基礎を固めながら、「聞く」「読む」「話す」「書く」の4つの言語技能を網羅する英語能力のあらゆる側面を探求することを通して、「何でも学ぶ能力」を生涯にわたって身につけるための熟達した学習習慣と戦略を培うことです。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
前提条件:
1/3の欠席でE評価となる。最大4回の欠席まで許される。
毎週約１時間の準備および/または外部の課題 Academic ExpressのSelected Trainingを終えないと単位は認定されない。
英語の理解度及び学習の進捗を追跡するために、毎クラスで以下の項目についての小テストを１つ以上課す。その累積スコアによって成績評価を算出する。欠席した場合、当日課された小テストからのポイントと学ぶ機会を失う。

Grammar（文法）: 20%
Listening（リスニング）: 20%
Speaking（スピーキング）: 10%
Reading（リーディング）: 20%
Writing（ライティング）: 5%
