Outline (in English)

This study aims to acquire comprehensive fundamental computational ability in linear algebra, including eigenvalue problem and linear mapping, multiple integrals of real-valued functions, and solving differential equations in classical mechanics.

Based on the basic knowledge of linear algebra learned so far, students will learn the basic integration of some basic functions and mechanics. The goal is to be free to perform the following calculations:
1. Matrix representing the mapping
2. Calculation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors
3. Integration of simple features
4. Integration of the two variables
5. Understanding various forces and balances in mechanics

To develop various understandings in linear algebra, calculus, and mechanics, it is necessary to improve basic knowledge and mathematical calculation skills. In the classroom, we will give several practical assignments on these exercises in cooperation with lectures on “Linear Algebra and its Application 1”, “Calculus and its Applications 1”, and “Basic Concepts of Physical Science”. Based on the degree of understanding and importance, appropriate explanations will be provided from assignments, examinations, and questions. Materials will be distributed and submitted through the "learning support system". Students are expected to work for more than one hour per class.

"Pass or Fail" grading is adopted, based on the grades from assignments of preparation and review, several reports and quizzes, and in-class contribution (100%).
