Outline (in English)

This lecture aims to learn the basics of linear algebra, so that matrix operations can be freely handled, and simultaneous linear equations can be solved. The goal is to learn the basics of linear algebra using rudimentary mathematical knowledge and to be able to freely perform the following matrix operations.
1. Basic matrix operations
2. Inverse matrix derivation and operations
3. Matrix operations for solving simultaneous linear equations

In each class meeting, not only the explanation of mathematical formulas but also several basic practical examples will be presented. In addition, exercises will be used together to deepen understanding. To understand the calculation method and develop the calculation ability, useful assignments for preparation and review are given every time. Students are expected to work for more than four hours per class.

Distributing and submitting materials will be done through the "learning support system". In addition, we will provide appropriate explanations and feedback from the assignments, examinations, and questions according to the degree of understanding and importance.

Grading will be decided based on the term-end examination (50%), and the grades for assignments of preparation and review, reports, quizzes, and in-class contribution (50%).
