Outline (in English)
tudents will learn the basic concepts and methods of synthetic organic chemistry while reviewing the organic chemistry reactions learned in undergraduate studies. Furthermore, students will learn about more advanced synthetic reactions, stereoselectivity in reactions etc. using actual examples of synthesizing complex organic compounds.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
学部で学習した有機化学反応を復習しながら，有機合成化学の基本的な考え方や手法を学んでいく。さらに，実際の複雑な有機化合物の合成例を題材として，より高度な合成反応，反応における立体選択性，生成物の同定法等について学んでいく。

医薬品などの有用な天然物を合成するためには，多くの反応を組み合わせて合成経路を考える必要がある。ここでは有機合成において重要な反応を取り上げ，それらの反応の反応機構を学ぶことにより，合理的な合成反応経路を組み立てられるようにする。
In order to synthesize complex organic compounds, it is necessary to consider synthetic routes that combine many reactions. This course covers important concepts and reactions in organic synthesis, and by learning them, students will be able to assemble rational synthetic reaction routes.

学部で学習した有機化学反応を復習しながら，有機合成化学の基本的な考え方や手法を学んでいく。さらに，実際の複雑な有機化合物の合成例を題材として，より高度な合成反応，反応における立体選択性等について学んでいく。
Students will learn the basic concepts and methods of synthetic organic chemistry while reviewing the organic chemistry reactions learned in undergraduate studies. Furthermore, we will learn about more advanced synthetic reactions and stereoselectivity.

テキスト・講義ノート・配付資料をもとに必ず復習する。反応機構は，一つ一つのステップを確認しながら，必ず紙に書いて（自分で手を動かして）理解する。
Let's review the organic chemistry reactions we learned in undergraduate school.
Be sure to review based on the textbook, lecture notes, and handouts. Be sure to understand the reaction mechanism by writing it down on paper while checking each step.

期末試験(100％)で総合的に評価する。
