(Course outline)
This course introduces the concepts and methods of mathematical programming, which play a fundamental role in optimization modeling.

(Learning Objectives)
The goal of this course is to cultivate the basic skills to construct optimization models appropriately and solve problems in various situations of science and engineering.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
The homework is to address unsolved exercises and deepen understanding of the associated notions or methodologies.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
The grading is based on the two reports (60%) and questions and answers in classroom (40%).
