Outline (in English)
This course deals with telescopes and astronomical instruments and introduces what kind of information about the astronomical objects and universe can be obtained from astronomical observations. The goals of this course are to understand how telescope and astronomical instruments work, what information can be derived from basic observations such as imaging and spectroscopy, and important concepts related to the astronomical observations. Students will be expected to learn each topic from references and review the topic before each class meeting. Grading will be decided based on in-class report and discussion.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
天体・宇宙の観測で使用されている望遠鏡や観測装置について学ぶ。そして、どのような観測を行って、どのような宇宙・天体の情報を得ることができるのかを学ぶ。
到達目標Goal
望遠鏡や観測装置について、その動作原理や測定原理を理解する。撮像観測・分光観測など基本的な観測法から得られる情報などについて理解する。天文観測の方法や観測の基礎となる信号雑音比といった概念を理解する。
