Outline (in English)
The aim of this lecture is to learn the latest nanotechnologies and nano-meter size materials which have been providing advance properties and performances in many kinds of applications. Contents listed in the schedule are suitable for graduate students.

大学院卒として知っておくべきナノ材料および関連知識を下記の授業計画に従て広く習得する。ナノテクは先端材料と先端科学・技術のすべてに関わるものであるため、特に後半では最新のトピックスを多く交えて理解を拡大する。

・次世代メモリの動作原理と得失。
・量子ドットの製作技術と応用。
・カーボンナノチューブの構造と応用。
・MEMSの技術・応用状況。

ナノテクノロジーの基本となるナノ材料の最新技術と応用、および、今後の動向を学ぶ。 大学院生として知っておくべき話題の技術を数多く、かつ、系統的に紹介する。講義はパワーポイントを用いてビジュアルに進める。講義資料は電子ファイルとして講義前にアップロードする。資料にはパスワードが付けれている。受講者は三島までメールにて事前申請も行いパスワードを取得すること。詳しくは学習支援システムを参照のこと。
Learn about the latest technologies and applications of nanomaterials, which are the basis of nanotechnology, and future trends. Many topical technologies that graduate students should know about will be systematically introduced. The lecture will proceed visually using PowerPoint. Lecture materials will be uploaded as electronic files before the lecture. The document is password protected. Students must apply in advance by e-mail to Mishima and obtain a password. For details, refer to the learning support system.

微細MOSメモリーの範囲を縮小し、最新の研究・開発状況の範囲を拡大する。講義資料にはパワーポイント図面のノート部分に十分な説明文を付記したので、講義中の繰返しを避けタイパにも配慮する。
Shrink the scope of fine MOS memory and expand the scope of the latest research and development status. The lecture materials include sufficient explanatory text in the notes section of the PowerPoint drawings to avoid repetition during lectures and to be considerate to value for time.
