Outline (in English)

【Course outline】This course introduces the basics of satellites in general and the fundamentals of satellite missions, orbits and operations. Project management of development of the satellite are explained. Some subjects are issued and students make presentation of the results and discuss. Seven exercises are issued and students make report with power point. Second purpose of this lecture is to make attitude of students for future engineer or researcher.
Students will be motivated by understanding the background of the space development activities.
【Learning Objectives】 At the end of the course, students are expected to understand how satellites help people's lives and how satellites are designed. By understanding the background of the space development activities, students will be motivated themselves for future researcher or engineer.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】 Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 4 hours to understand the course content and to answer to a subjects.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】 The total score of 60 or more out of 100 is considered acceptable.
