Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
We will learn various phenomena related to the earth in the space, atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, such as planetary motion and atmospheric circulation.
And We will understand the basic principles and basic rules that are the factors.
In addition, We will learn climate change, water pollution, etc. related to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and aim to acquire knowledge that will enable us to take action for the global environment.
【Learning Objectives】
・We will understand the characteristics of stars, planets, and galaxies.
・We will being interested in various phenomena related to daily life and being able to explain the phenomena and the mechanism of phenomenon occurrence.
・We will acquire knowledge that can respond to environmental issues related to SDGs, and disasters.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policies】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following.
Term end examination: 80% 、in class contribution: 20%

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業では、天体の運動や大気の運動など、宇宙・気圏・水圏・固体地球における地球に係わる諸現象について、動画や簡単な実験も交えながら学び、各現象の要因となる基本原理・基本法則を理解し、日常生活でみられる地学的諸現象に関する学習を通して、科学的な見方や考え方を養う。
加え、SDGs（Sustainable Development Goals、持続可能な開発目標）に関わる、気候変動、水質汚濁などにも触れ、地球環境のために自ら行動できる知識を身につけることを目指す。
到達目標Goal
・恒星や惑星、銀河の特徴を理解し、説明することができる。
・日常生活に関わる地学的諸現象に関心を持ち現象と発生メカニズムについて説明ができる。
・SDGsに関わる環境問題の課題や災害を理解し、主体的に対応するための知識を身につける。

講義形式による授業を基本として進める。適宜、動画資料も使用し理解を深める。
