Outline (in English)

This curse introduces the ideas and ways to grasp the structure of social education policy and institution management in each to support learning activities of people in their community lives, through analyzing the variety of people’s learning activities, the public policies and institution by local government, both the national and the local legal systems, residents’ movements and activities, some facilities related to people’s learning in community level both private and public sectors.
At the end of the course, students are expected to get whole picture of the existed situation of peoples learning in the local community level and understand the complexed situation of social education system and policies both of local and national governments.
Students are also expected to get some ideas and methods to analyze critically the existed business, practices and movements related to social education by the variety of actors and the existed evaluation system of them. Students are finally expected to get the ambition to cultivate more creative ways of social education management.
Students are expected to give comments at each class meeting. Students must submit Spring-term essays at the first class of the Fall term with some own research at the actual community and must have their presentation on their Spring term essay at the second class of Fall term. This report must be written through the research on some actual municipality. Students also must submit Fall-term essay and must have their presentation on their Fall-term essays at the last class.
The standard preparation and review time for each class is 2 hours each.
Grading is according to the total evaluation of Spring term essay (35%), the presentation of it (10%), Fall term essay (35%), the presentation of it, and the contribution to each class meeting (10%).
