Outline (in English)

<Course outline>
This course deals with the numerical analysis theory and algorithm. It also enhances the development of students’ basic skill in the numerical analysis by actual programming.
<Learning objective>
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
- To understand the basic of numerical analysis method.
- To make a computer program to numerically solve a basic ordinary differential equation.
<Learning activities outside of classroom>
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
<Grading Criteria/Policies>
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report (30%) and term-end report (70%).
