Outline (in English)

This course introduces the basic concepts that appear in statistical techniques such as sample data and probability, and the basic methods of statistical techniques such as estimation and testing. The goal of this course is to acquire the ability to apply these concepts and methods appropriately to solve problems in various fields of science and engineering, including natural science, behavioral science, and social science. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following Examination: 70%、Assignments: 30%.
