Outline (in English)
【授業の概要（Course outline）】
This course introduces modern control theory which has been applied in fields of automobile, robot and aerospace, together with foundation of digital control. In addition, actuator and sensor which are the fundamental components of mechatronics system are also introduced.
【到達目標（Learning Objectives）】
1. You can understand mathematics required for system control.
2. You can understand the modeling method of system based on the state equation.
3. You can understand the analysis method of control systems, such as controllability, observability, and stability.
4. You can understand the design method of control systems, such as state feedback and state observer.
5. You can perform simulation of stabilization control based on modern control theory.
【授業時間外の学習（Learning activities outside of classroom）】
After each class meeting, students will be expected to review the course content.
Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Also, students will be expected to get used to a mathematical software "MATLAB/Simulink" for a use in the class.
【成績評価の方法と基準（Grading Criteria /Policy）】
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process
Short reports in class and reports (40%), and term-end examination (60%)

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本講義では、自動車やロボット、および航空宇宙分野で利用されている現代制御理論を中心に、ディジタル制御の基礎、およびメカトロニクス機械の基本構成要素であるアクチュエータ、センサについても学ぶ。

1.システム制御に必要な数学が理解できる
2.状態方程式によるシステムのモデル化方法が理解できる
3.可制御性，可観測性，安定判別等の制御系の解析方法が理解できる
4.状態フィードバック、状態オブザーバ等の制御系の設計方法が理解できる
5.現代制御理論に基づいた安定化制御シミュレーションを行うことができる

【本授業の準備・復習等の授業時間外学習は、4時間を標準とする】授業で行う演習の際に、MATLAB/SIMULINKを使用するので、いつでも利用できるようにしておくこと。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
数回の授業において演習を行い，シミュレーションを行うレポートも提出してもらう．授業時の演習およびレポート40点満点，期末試験60点満点とし，総合得点60点以上を合格とする．
学生の意見等からの気づきChanges following student comments
授業で行うMATLAB/SIMULINKの演習の際は、学生の進行状況をよく確認して演習を進める．

基本的には板書により講義を進め，講義の理解を深めるため授業の中で制御系ソフトウェアMATLAB/Simulinkによる演習を行う．
