Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
In this class, students will acquire various learning skills necessary for actively learning. Students acquire the ability to collect information, understand contents of information, and communicate information, and attitudes to actively learn.
[Learning Objectives]
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
1.As an information gathering ability, students can take useful notes even after a lapse of time after judging the information they need.
2.Students can properly read sentences written by others, such as textbooks, to understand the contents of information. In addition, students can not just excerpt, but can summarize the text appropriately after understanding the content of the text.
3.As an information dissemination ability, students can write sentences that are easy for others to read and understand and persuasive.
4.As a communication ability, students can clearly express their opinions after listening to and understanding the other party's remarks.
5.Students can continue to participate in the lesson after properly preparing for the lesson such as preparation and review as an attitude of active activity.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
[Grading Criteria /Policy]
The overall grade of the class is determined based on the following.
In-class contribution 40%, submission of tasks 20%, report 40%.
