Outline (in English)

In this class, we will use knowledge from psychology to analyze and discuss the problems and anxieties that arise when using language, especially when reading and writing texts. Let's consider questions such as “What does it mean to match the TPO?” and “What kind of writing does not offend the reader?” while referring to various previous studies. Also, let's think together about solutions to the “problems and anxieties when using written language” that we have on a daily basis. In the 13th class, each group will be asked to present a topic of interest, so be prepared. The standard preparation and review study time for this class is 2 hours each. Grades will be evaluated based on 30% of the regular score (assignments and answers to quizzes), 30% of the presentation score, and 40% of the final assignment (submitted as the 14th preparatory assignment). Credit will not be given if you are absent more than 5 times.
