Outline (in English)

Students can study regional characteristics of Europe through understanding regionality of various components (physical environment, religion, language, agriculture, rural village, urban area, tourism, etc.). Students also learn some regional examples on various spatial scales necessary for understanding geography of Europe.
At the end of the course, students are expected to understand
the methodology of regional geography and the regional characteristics of Europe.

Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to
spend two hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the
following: Term-end examination: 60% and Short reports: 40%.
