Outline (in English)

Students will study a wide range of phenomena related to nature and society in Latin America (environment and ecosystems, history and culture, politics, economics, international relations, and their composite issues such as natural disasters and infectious diseases) to deepen their comprehensive (interdisciplinary) understanding of the basic characteristics of the region. Special attention should be paid to the interconnectedness of each of these, rather than simply listing individual issues.
