Outline (in English)
【Course Outline】
This course covers the fundamental principles of statistics with a focus on both theory and applications. Topics include data analysis, fundamental probability, and statistical inference.
(Fall semester) The course will extend the content of descriptive statistics in the spring semester and give the basic concepts of statistics.
【Learning Objectives】
Upon completion of the course, students are able to:
Understand basic statistical concepts and methods for analyzing data.
Apply statistical techniques to address real-world problems and support decision-making.
Acquire skills in data visualization and interpretation.
Grasp the fundamental principles of statistical inference and modeling.

【授業の概要】
春学期：経済統計、記述統計について講義を行う。
【授業の目的・意義】
・統計学の基本概念を理解し、データのパターンや変動を分析するための手法を身につける。
・統計的手法を使用して現実の問題に対処し、統計学を活用するスキルを身につける。
・データの収集、整理、可視化、および解釈のための基本的な技術を習得する。
・統計的推論やモデリングの基本原則を理解する。
到達目標Goal
1. 確率分布にどのようなものがあるのか知っている。
2. 確率分布の性質を理解している。
3. 様々な確率分布を用いた区間推定・検定ができる。

講義形式であり、Zoomを用いて実施します。また、Microsoft WordやMicrosoft Excelを用いた課題を提出します。テスト提出〆切り後、正解を提示し、テスト結果について講評を行うことでフィードバックを行います。
