Outline (in English)

Course outline/Learning Objectives:
In economics, we describe and analyze variation economic amounts, as whose mathematical basis, elementary calculus is lectured in this course. In Mathematics A, differential calculus is mainly lectured. In Mathematics B, the idea of the maximum and the minimum, and integral calculus are mainly lectured.


Learning activities outside of classroom:
Lecture materials will be distributed before every lecture.
Students are expected to read the materials before the class
and strongly recommended to pre-study and to review the points shown in the materials with the textbook before and after the class.
For each lecture, pre-study of 2 hours and review for 2 hours are recommended for comprehension.


Grading Criteria/Policy:
The grade of the students in this class will be decided based on Term end examination (80%) and Class contribution (20%).
