Outline (in English)

(Course Outline)The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge and understanding of stage theory of capitalist development. Students will be expected to deepen the understanding factors and background of capitalism's development.
(Learning Objectives)Firstly, students will be able to explain the development of capitalism up to the present day. Secondary, students will be able to point out the factors that cause capitalism to develop and change. Thirdly, students will be able to discuss the future of capitalism persuasively.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)Final grade will be calculated according to the following process: mini exams(60%), term-end examination(40%).
