Outline (in English)
This course aims to cultivate the ability to comprehend various forms of art in the contexts of intellectual history and aesthetics in both Western and Japanese cultures during the 20th century. The goal is to develop the capacity to discuss artistic works based on scholarly knowledge, fostering a deeper understanding of art within philosophical and aesthetic frameworks. Let's strive to achieve the objective of being able to articulate insights about artistic expressions through the lens of intellectual and aesthetic perspectives.

本講義は二〇世紀における西洋と日本の様々な芸術を、思想史的・美学的な文脈において理解する能力を養うことを目的とします。学問的な知識を基盤として芸術作品について語れるようになることを目標に学んでいきましょう。
到達目標Goal
美術作品を感覚的に鑑賞するところに留まらず、思想史や美学の理論的な知識を利用して分析的に論じられるようになることを目標とします。

各回、シラバスに示したテーマについてWeb上の情報でも構わないので、事前に予習をしておいてください。また本授業の準備・復習時間は、各1時間を標準とします。

リアクション・ペーパー（50％）とレポート（50％）で総合的に評価します。
