Outline (in English)

(Course Outline)
The aims of this course are to provide students with basic knowledge and viewpoints indispensable to analyses on social education activities, to support for conducting surveys on social education activities, mainly in social education facilities, and to advise for writing reports utilizing data of the survey.

(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this course are to help students acquire proper abilities of practical research for social education advisers and supervisors (ability to grasp the characteristic of each social education activity and its background, and to make realistic proposals for the activity) by reading texts, conducting surveys, and writing reports.

(Learning Activities Outside of Classroom)
Students will be expected to organize his or her own comments and questions about assigned literature in advance in advance, and to conduct his or her planful survey. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process: Presentations on individual report (50%), contribution to discussion (50%).
