Outline (in English)
*Course outline
Listed Companies publish financial statements. It is essential to be able to read these financial statements in order to understand companies. In this lesson, you will learn the basics of how the balance sheet and the income statement are made. We will also learn the basics of analysis methods.
*Learning Objectives
The objective of this course is to understand why and how balance sheets and income statements are published and how they are prepared, as well as to learn the basics of how to analyze them.
*Learning activities outside of classroom
Students are encouraged to review the class on a regular basis. Your required study time is at least 4 hours for each class meeting.
*Grading Criteria
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following.
Quiz and short reports: 10%, Term-end examination: 90%.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
企業は、貸借対照表および損益計算書等を公表しています。企業を理解するには、これらの財務諸表を読めることは必須です。この授業では、貸借対照表・損益計算書がどのように作られているのか、その基礎を学びます。さらにそれらの分析方法の基礎を学びます。
到達目標Goal
貸借対照表、損益計算書はなぜ公表されているのか、またどのように作られているのか、さらにそれらの分析方法の基礎を習得することを目標にします。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
成績評価は次のとおりです。
①平常点10%（授業内のQuiz、レポートの得点）
②定期試験90%

・抽象度の高い概念について、具体的な事例を用いた説明をすることを心がけます。
・また、実例を多く取り上げ、受講者が主体的に取り組めるように工夫します。

・「企業会計論」を学ぶと、本講義の内容を一層よく理解できます。
・本講義は、経営分析IIの基礎となります。会計学は専門性が高いですが、一度身に着けると、ずっと使うことができるやりがいのある勉強です。
