Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In this era of "100-year life", the old Japanese working style, such as seniority-based wages and lifetime employment, is being reconsidered, and there is a transition to a society in which each person independently and autonomously chooses his or her own way of working.

In this seminar, students will learn about the characteristics and various issues of working styles in modern society and what is needed to realize a "sustainable career" in light of social changes.

【Learning Objectives】
Students will learn the basic knowledge and theories necessary to realize a "sustainable career" and to be able to develop and select a career independently.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are expected to conduct research on the topics to be discussed in advance and be prepared to express their own opinions in the discussions.

In addition, students are required to prepare for group and individual presentations outside of class. Make sure to prepare resumes and other materials for your group and individual presentations.

Students are expected to decide on their own areas of interest and conduct research independently.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Usual performance score (100%): Participation in discussions, contribution to group work and seminar activities, and the content of group and individual presentations will be comprehensively evaluated.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives

「サステナブルキャリアを考える」
「人生100年」と言われる時代において、年功序列型の賃金や終身雇用といった旧来の日本的な働き方が見直され、一人ひとりが主体的・自律的に働き方を選択していく社会に変化しつつあります。本ゼミでは、社会環境の変化を踏まえて「サステナブル（持続可能な）キャリア」を実現するために何が必要か、現代社会における働き方の特徴や諸問題について学んでいきます。

到達目標Goal

「サステナブルキャリア」を実現するために必要な基礎知識や理論を学び、自らの意思でキャリアを構築、選択できるようになること。

テキストの講読を行い、その内容をもとにディスカッション形式で進行することを基本とします。また、春学期はグループ発表、秋学期は個人発表を実施してもらうことを想定しています（ゼミ生の人数等に応じて変更の可能性があります）。また、スケジュール次第では、ゲストスピーカーの招聘や校外学習も実施する可能性があります。

今年度より募集開始するゼミですので、ゼミ生の皆さんのご要望も聞きながら実施できればと思います。
