Outline (in English)

"Environmental Anthropology I" is an introductory course to learn about environmental anthropology and related discussions on human-environment relations. The main goal of this course is to help students obtain basic knowledge of environmental anthropology and develop critical thinking skills by asking questions that require them to apply course materials and lectures for their thoughts on human-environment relations and logically explain them to others.

Students will be expected to take two exams and post discussion commentaries on Hoppii. A study time for a class, on average, is four hours. A final grade will be based on mid-term and final exams (70%) and discussion commentaries (30%).
