Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This lecture aims to acquire basic knowledge of employment and labor laws. The lecture will introduce the latest issues and changes in the employment field in the modern society, following the transition of life stages from entering a company and developing your career through promotions and job changes, to ending your career.

【Learning Objectives】
Students will acquire the basic knowledge for developing their own careers independently.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
(1) Deepen students' understanding of the themes and issues studied in lectures by reading reference books, newspaper articles, etc. on a daily basis. (2) Deepen students' understanding of the contents studied in lectures by considering the actual conditions and issues surrounding work and employment through internships, part-time jobs, and other opportunities.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
The final report (80%) will be used to evaluate the level of understanding and depth of awareness of the issues studied in the lecture, as well as the overall evaluation by taking into account the usual performance score (20%, including attendance).
