Outline (in English)

(Course outline)This class aims to explore a path from decline to revitalization for not only labor unions but also social organizations, including government, corporations, and local communities.
(Learning Objectives) The term "union" refers, as its name suggests, to an organization created by people coming together. There are overlapping and non-overlapping aspects between the organization and the individuals belonging to it. Various organizations, not just one, have mutual interests. These relationships can change over time and with changes in the social environment. How do organizations and individuals get influenced by the times and the social environment? What is currently being sought after? By studying these aspects, the goal is to innovate the ways various organizations and individuals exist.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)This class aims to actively utilize group discussions to explore practical methods for union innovation. Therefore, outside of class hours, there will be a need for information gathering and the preparation of reporting materials.
(Grading Criteria/Policy)The evaluation will be based on the contributions made in group discussions, research, preparation of presentation materials, and presentations.
