Outline (in English)

Course outline
This course is designed to enhance information literacy related to physical training and health, which is important for improving individual health and wellbeing as a basis for physical performance improvement. Using online platforms such as Youtube on strength training, flexibility improvement, and recovery strategies as teaching materials, we will discuss the principles and effective methods of science-based physical training and facilitate group work discussions to improve each other's training programs while building fellowship among the participants.
Learning Objectives
Understand the basic principles of physical training
2. Recognize the importance of strength training, flexibility, and recovery strategies.
3. Develop the ability to discern the truth and falsity of information regarding physical training in online videos such as Youtube
4. Explain the appropriate use of social media
5. Develop the ability to learn collaboratively and deepen friendships through the exchange of information among participants.
Learning activities outside of classroom
Students are expected to search for videos and research papers related to the theme of the class and prepare for oral presentations outside of class time. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
[Grading Criteria/Policy]
Overall evaluation will be based on the following distribution.
(1) Class participation and reaction paper: 40%
(2) Identification and discussion of issues related to the class theme: 30%.
(3) Content of presentations: 30%.
Students will be allowed to be absent up to 2 times.
