Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In this class, students learn the basic theory and methods of physical training that contribute to the achievement of own goals, such as performance enhancement, body makeup, dieting, and health maintenance and improvement, and devise their own training program. Students will also understand that training activities that contribute to physical health can also be a means of contributing to psychological and social health.
【Learning Objectives】
1.to learn the basic theory and methods of training. 
2.to devise and implement original training program that contributes to the achievement of own goals.
3.to acquire knowledge of nutrition and supplements to promote the effects of training.
4.to understand that training is a means of contributing not only to physical health but also to psychological and social health.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each. In this class, we recommend the following efforts outside of class hours.
1.to practice systematic training.
2.to record your meals and sleeping hours.
3.to read material on training, nutrition and sleep.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following.
1. Participation in class and submission of reaction papers and other materials : 80%. 
2. Report assignments : 20%.
