Outline (in English)
【授業の概要（Course outline） 】
The aim of this course is to further deepen students' understanding of modern the Chinese nation and the Han Chinese through repeated training in accurately reading articles written in modern Chinese (Mandarin).
【到達目標 / Goal】
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1. To be able to understand the terminology used and its position on the side of the Han Chinese or ethnic minorities.
2. Be able to accurately analyze sentence components.
3. Become familiar with the unique expressions and structures of written language.
4. Cultivate the ability to draw analogies while becoming proficient in using a dictionary.
5. To reconfirm and reconstruct the translated text through rewriting after the study (translation)

現代漢語（中国語）で書かれた論文を正確に読み解く練習・訓練を繰り返す。文章の読解を通じ、現代中国および中華民族や漢族に対する理解をさらに深める。
到達目標Goal
１．漢族または少数民族側に立った用語の使い方やその立場が理解ができるようになる
２．専門用語の解釈のための情報収集等の共同作業を通してさらに実力をつける
３．学修（翻訳）後のリライトで訳文を再確認・再構築することで、中国語の文化と日本の文化との違いを理解できる
４．今後の研究に必要な中国語文献等の読解の基礎力を身につける

文章の読解を通じ、「言語の翻訳」だけではなく背景理解＝「文化や制度の翻訳」にまで踏み込み、常用・慣用的表現にも習熟していく。
課題についての講評や注意点などについては、授業時間内に全員に紹介し、情報を共有する。

本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とする。

中国民族問題の基礎を理解する論文を用意し、プリントで配布する。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
試験はおこなわず、毎回の積極的な参加と取り組みを100％として総合的に評価する。

教室では従来どおり「1対多」ではなく「1対1」の集合体としての時間とする。個別の発音矯正を徹底する。支障がある学生は、事前に教員に連絡すること。

辞書を丹念に引きながら文成分を確認していくという地道な努力を重ねていくうちに、WEB上の記事や新聞などがだんだんとよくわかるようになり、自分でも驚くほどの力がついていることにある日突然気が付くはずです。一日も早いその日の到来を楽しみに、一緒に辞書を引きましょう。
