Outline (in English)

This class will examine how "we" are being formed and dismantled, focusing primarily on technology.
Examples of themes include the alphabet, the printing revolution, cinema, the Internet, and the blockchain in relation to publics, nationalism, populism, and decentralized autonomous organizations.

In researching "society" broadly, we will understand the impact of technology. The goal is to assess the impact of trendy phenomena such as generative AI, Web 3.0, and the metaverse, without overestimating or underestimating their impact.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

Grading criteria are as follows:
Ordinary marks: 40 percent
Presentations: 60 percent
