Outline (in English)

Students will recognize the importance of controlling plant diseases and learn what methods are used to control plant diseases. They will also learn the characteristics of various control techniques and the formulation of control measures based on the life cycle of plant disease pathogens and pests, as well as the development of control technologies for social needs.
It is important to know the types and characteristics of plant disease control techniques and to propose control methods that meet the needs of farmers based on the life cycle of plant disease pathogens. In this course, cases of plant diseases that have occurred in agricultural production will be introduced and key points for the introduction of control measures will be explained. Students can learn what kind of control measures are effective, based on the life cycle of plant disease.
Grades will be based on the final exam (50%), assignments and reports (30%), and regular marks (20%).
