By understanding the mechanisms at the cellular level and molecular level of various physiological functions of plants, students learn the fundamental idea for growing healthy plants. The contents of this class form the basis for understanding physiological phenomenon of plants such as the molecular mechanism of physiological disorders of plants and the defense response of plants against pathogens. The standard study time for this class is four hours to understand the course content. Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on Term-end examination (70%), reports (15%) and in-class contribution (15%).
