Outline (in English)

(Course outline) During various materials are circulating on the earth, the character of the materials, such as shape, microstructure, phases, and crystal structure, are changing. This class mainly focuses on the circulation of mineral resources on the earth. The knowledge will help us to understand and create recycling-oriented and sustainable society.
(Learning Objectives) Students are expected to understand the chemical reaction and mechanical changes on the earth, and fandamental of introduction of computational fluid dynamics.
(Learning activities outside of classroom) Student must understand the content of the previous class.
(Grading Criteria /Policy) Final grade will be calculated according to quizzes in classes (20%), term-end examination (80%), and in-class contribution.
