Outline (in English)
This course will integrate all language skills by using the teaching material based on the film, especially listening and speaking skills and aims to provide students opportunities to learn colloquial expression and express their opinions on the content of the material. Students will learn about aspects of American culture while building their communication skills.

映画教材を使用し、口語表現や早い発話における音変化や各場面で用いられる単語・表現について意味や使い方を学び、リスニング・スピーキング力の向上を目指すとともにアメリカ文化に対する理解を深める。
到達目標Goal
（１）アメリカ英語の個々の音やイントネーション、会話でよく使われる表現を理解する。
（２）自然な発話速度における音変化を理解し、つながった音が聞き取れるようにする。
（３）映画を通してアメリカの生活・文化などについて理解する。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
Your overall grade in the class will be decided on the following:
term-end exam 40%, homework 30%(including giving a presentation about your favorite line), acting out 10 %, and in class contribution 20%.

・３０分以上の遅刻、早退は欠席１回として扱います。
・授業態度の悪い者（携帯電話の使用、居眠り、私語、度重なる遅刻、ペア活動不参加など）は、減点の対象となるので注意すること。
・欠席は減点とする。
