Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
The course will cover the most basic and important general parts of international law and the basic principles of international economic law.
【Learning Objectives】
The student should be able to understand the basic concepts and frameworks of international law and international economic law, as well as their functions and limitations.
In addition, the student should be able to examine various issues in contemporary international society and international disputes concerning Japan based on international law.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are required to read the textbook (Tamada, Mizushima, and Yamada, "International Law (2nd Edition)", Chapters 1-5 and Chapter 12 in advance.
Although it is acceptable to skim through the textbook, it is extremely important to have an overall picture of the course through preparatory study in order to be prepared for the intensive, short-term schooling classes.
Materials to be used in the lecture will be distributed in advance via the academic support system, so please read through them before the class.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
国際法の総論部分の中でも特に基本的で重要な部分と、国際経済法の基本原則について学ぶ。
到達目標Goal
国際法と国際経済法の基本的概念・枠組およびその機能と限界について、一応の理解ができること。
加えて、現代国際社会の諸課題や日本に関する国際紛争などについて国際法に基づき検討を試みられるようになること。

試験の実施とその解説
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
教科書（玉田・水島・山田『国際法〔第２版〕』）第１章～第５章、第１２章を事前に読んでおくこと。
ざっと目を通しておく程度でもかまわないが、短期集中のスクーリング授業に対応するためには、予習によって全体像を把握しておくことがきわめて重要である。
また、講義で使用する資料は学支援システムを通じて事前に配布するので、授業前に目を通しておくこと。
本授業の準備・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とする。

『国際条約集』（有斐閣）
教科書と条約集、いずれも必ず授業に持参すること。なお、条約集は、ここ数年のものであれば、最新年度版でなくてもよい。

判例集は必携とはしないが、あると判例の理解に非常に役立つ。

これらの概説書は、発展的に学習したい場合に有用である。
