Outline (in English)

The study of logic is fundamental to our ability to think and act rationally. The definitions of objects and matters in question help us to understand and solve various problems that we encounter in our daily lives. Furthermore, the ability to discern correct inferences is the foundation of critical thinking. The purpose of this class is to master the concepts, judgments, and reasoning of traditional logic using ordinary language.
Read through the relevant sections of the textbook to get a general overview (2 hours). Review the contents of the previous class using the textbook and handouts to ensure mastery of the knowledge of logic. Also, solve assignments from the textbook (2 hours).
Grades will be on a 100-point scale, with scores on the written exam being the sole basis. To prepare for the written exam, students must solve practice problems in the textbook for each class session. A passing grade is 60 points or higher.
