Outline (in English)
Course outline: We will discuss the economic issues in the context of Japan. Apart from domestic issues such as fiscal and monetary policies, we will also extend to the global framework, mainly from two important perspectives: international trade and foreign direct investment (FDI).
Learning Objectives: This course aims to help the students theoretically and empirically analyze the events regarding the Japanese economy, fostering the students' ability to be aware of the economic issues.
Learning activities outside of classroom: Approximately 2 hours for preparation and review respectively.
Grading Criteria/Policy: The final examination accounts for 100% of the total grade.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
日本は今、グローバル化の進展で様々な課題を抱えている。今後の動向を理解するために、様々なツールが必要になってくる。本講義では、日本国内経済のみならず、企業の海外進出における諸問題にも焦点を置きながら議論していく。
到達目標Goal
本講義は､ 日本経済事象を理論的に捉え、実証的に分析し、問題意識を持つ能力を身につけさせることを目標とする。またグローバル経済における日本の経済現象を経済学の視点から考察する。日頃目に耳にしている出来事や現象を通して、経済の仕組みやそのメカニズムについて学ぶ。

基本的には講義予定に基いて進める。オンデマンドコンテンツを事前にこちらから用意し、毎回の授業でコンテンツを実習してもらい、小テストなどで理解度を高めてもらう。
