This course introduces Japanese economic growth, causes of growth and intermittent history to students taking this course.

【科目の概要】Method(s)
1 江戸時代から日清戦争期までの経済成長の歴史を学ぶことを課題とする。
2 その際、何が経済成長を促したのかを理解し、原因と結果を説明できるようにする。
3 日本経済史における「断絶」の経験と「連続」の蓄積を把握し、現在の私たちが直面する経済状況に対する判断力を養う。
【成績評価基準】Grading criteria
最終成績は単位修得試験によって評価します（ただし、リポート学習もしっかりと行うこと）。

指定市販本 沢井実・谷本雅之『日本経済史―近世から現代まで―』有斐閣、2016年、3,700円＋税。
【学習指導、注意点等】Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
通信学習のリポートに添削・講評でフィードバックする。指定されたテキストをしっかり読み、ノートを作るだけでなく、指定しなかった文献も上記書から必要なものを探し出し、学習すること。
