Outline (in English)

 This course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the basic calculation process of corporate income tax in Japan, which is a central tax for companies, in order to master the fundamentals of tax accounting as an important area of accounting, and to understand the relationship and differences with financial accounting.
 Students will learn the following items regarding the basics of calculating taxable income under the Corporate Tax Law, the calculation of profit and loss with a focus on the cost allocation area,basics of corporate taxation, basics of taxable income,trading profit and loss, other income, cost of sales and year-end valuation of inventories, cost of sales and year-end valuation of securities, depreciation of fixed assets, amortization of deferred assets.
Your overall grade will be decided on term-end examination(100%) after passing term-end report.
