Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
The objective of this course is to acquire basic knowledge, conduct surveys and study themes related to the student’s major field of study in civil and environmental engineering.
(Learning Objectives)
Through reading domestic and foreign literature related to their specialty, field surveys, discussions on specific themes, experiments, surveys, and analysis, etc., students will aware and understand problems related to the themes of their specialized fields and acquire problem-solving skills. The goal is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to advance research related to the master's thesis.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Based on a wide range of self-development continuous learning from basic knowledge on specific themes to research-level issues. The standard time for preparation and review for this class is 2 hours each.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Evaluation will be based on the status of research efforts, master's thesis at 70%, research summary at 10%, and research presentation at 20%.
