Outline (in English)

Outline:
The objective of this course is to acquire basic knowledge, conduct surveys and study themes related to the student’s major field of study in civil and environmental engineering.
Objectives:
The goal is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research for the master's thesis.
Specifically, the goal is to form an awareness of issues related to their field of specialization and acquire rudimentary problem-solving skills through reading internal and external literature, field visits, discussions, surveys, and research on specific themes.
Learning activities outside of classroom:
Review of weekly classes, as well as a wide range of ongoing self-directed study, from basic knowledge of a specific topic to research-level assignments. A total of 4 hours of preparatory study and review time for this class is standard.
Grading Criteria /Policy:
Assignments will be evaluated based on the individually assigned tasks (100%). 60 points or more will be considered as a passing grade.
