Outline (in English)

The course introduces case studies based on experience and provides commentary on disaster risk and response/measures in the planning, construction, maintenance, and management of various infrastructures in Japan and overseas. The objective of the course is to deepen understanding of the current status, trends, and unsolved problems of disaster risk and response for infrastructure.
This course's standard preparation and review time is about 2 hours, respectively.
Grade evaluation: Reports 60% + Short tests 20% + Activities 20%= 100%.
