Outline (in English)

In this course, students will learn to make comprehensive architectural design proposals based on social perspectives, creative spaces etc.
In addition, as part of an on-campus internship students will aim to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills from practical experience.

[Learning Objectives]
The goal is to produce comprehensive architectural design proposals based on social perspectives and original spatial concepts.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
In principle, the design studio of the graduate school is held three times a week, but receiving instruction in the studio is only a part of the design act. In the case of a graduate school studio, students are particularly required to learn how to express themselves, so work outside of class is even more essential than during class hours.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 12 hours to understand the course content.

[Grading Criteria /Policy]
Grading will be decided based on final presentation (100%) with reference to esquisse and midterm presentation.
Absence from each review and 2 or more unexcused absences will not be evaluated.
