Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to get fundamental knowledge of Physical Geography.The goals of this course are to understand Earth science processes and to recognize geological time scale.Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.Final grade will be calculated according to the following process; Positive attitude (20%) and presentation (80%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives

本演習は自然地理学のうち「地形」を中心とした内容であるが、第四紀学、自然災害科学、および人類文明環境史など、自然地理学が関係する周辺諸科学の領域についても自由に学習・議論し、自然環境と持続可能な人間社会のあり方について考察を深める。

到達目標Goal

自然地理学諸分野およびその関連分野の研究成果に自らが積極的に触れ、批判的に読み解き、また他者と議論する過程を通して、新たな現代的課題を発見し、自分自身がその解決手法を考え、実践していく能力を身に付ける。
