Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This course aims to train doctoral degree holders who are well versed in practice, and focuses on "practical research" as an exercise assignment. On the other hand, if the student has already reached the level of an advanced practitioner or needs to enhance the theoretical aspect in relation to the doctoral dissertation, "Theoretical Research" will be permitted, and the course will be conducted in either of these two ways. In either case, students work on a freely selected topic for a certain period of time under the guidance of their primary and secondary supervisors, and receive group guidance and evaluation of the results from multiple faculty members. The purpose of this program is to help students develop their individual careers and complete exercises that will serve as the basis or part of their doctoral thesis work.

【Learning Objectives】
Work on exercises that are useful for career development and form the basis or part of a PhD thesis.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The course begins in the fall semester of the first year or the fall semester of the second year, but some exercises require a longer period of time, so students should consult with their advisors and start working on their assignments before the start of the course. The preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each, and the specific content of the efforts is as follows.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Comprehensive evaluation is performed according to the following criteria. Ability to solve and manage diverse practical issues (70%), ability to disseminate and return research results to society (30%)
