Outline (in English)

This is a class for students who have already learned "Basic Chinese I".
The course focuses on learning Chinese aspect, idiomatic phrases, basic vocabulary, and other aspects of the Chinese language.
At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to do the followings:
- pronounce words and sentences accurately.
- acquire basic grammar and read the contents of short texts.
- understand and use simple conversational expressions.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 70%、in class contribution: 30%.
