Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The theories and methods of sports psychology applied to psychological support for athletes and sports teams can also contribute to solving psychological problems faced in everyday life. In this course, students learn about the theories and methods of sports psychology through lectures, literature reading and group work, and understand that the knowledge acquired can be applied to everyday life and business situations, and then consider how to apply it.

【Learning Objectives】
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1. Understand that sport psychology theory and practice can be applied to everyday life and business situations
2.Describe how sport psychology theory and practice can be applied to everyday life and business situations.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. The specific content of this work is as follows.
1.Assignments based on the textbook, so please work on them.
2. If there is assigned literature, etc., please make sure you have lectured on it in advance.
3.Please make a habit of paying attention to various sports-related information from TV, newspapers, the web, etc. This will deepen your understanding of the lecture content.

【Grading Criteria/Policy】
1. Overall evaluation according to the following criteria.
1) Reports: 70%.
2) Reaction papers and participation in class activities: 30%.
3) Participation in class does not simply mean attendance, but rather proactive involvement in discussions and various class management is subject to evaluation.
4) Reaction papers and reports are evaluated on whether the students are able to adequately describe what they have learnt in class.
2.Attendance requirements for eligibility to sit the examination
1) Attendance for at least 8 out of a total of 12 (2 sessions per day x 6 days) sessions over a period of 6 days.
2) On the final day (examination day) only, the first half of the class will be counted as two sessions (absence will be treated as two sessions of absence and late arrival or early departure will be treated as one session of absence).
