Outline (in English)
This course (Educational Psychology) introduces developmental psychology to students taking this course. The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the mental and physical development of children，functions of groups, learning theory and educational evaluation.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 70%、Short repor:15% and In class contribution: 15%.

・幼児、児童及び生徒の心身の発達の過程、外的及び内的要因の相互作用
・乳幼児期から青年期の各時期における運動発達・言語発達・認知発達・社会性の発達
・様々な学習の形態や概念及びその過程を説明する代表的理論
・主体的学習を支える動機づけ・集団づくり・学習評価の在り方
・主体的な学習活動を支える指導の基礎

〇 最終成績は、定期試験の成績をもと（70％）とし、授業への積極性・貢献度(15%)や課題レポート1回の成績（15％）を加味して、決定します。

到達目標Goal
・幼児、児童及び生徒の心身の発達の過程並びに特徴を理解する。
・幼児、児童及び生徒の学習に関する基礎的知識を身に付け、発達を踏まえた学習を支える指導について基礎的な考え方を理解する。
The goal of this course is to understand the motivation and cognitive process in learning for children and to study how to integrate this knowledge into teaching practices.
It is also our aim to understand how teacher-student relationships and each child’s disposition and developmental rate can affect their learning process and their ability to adapt to their learning environments.
We will also discuss educational psychology for learners with developmental disabilities.

【本授業の準備・復習等の授業時間外学習は、4時間を標準とする】テキストの関連箇所を熟読し、よく確認しておくこと。授業で得た知識をさらに展開できるように、各章の末尾にある「次のステップへ」の課題を解いてみよう。課題を出すことがあるが、授業前に必ずやっておくこと。
