Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
Basic biological sciences is the study of all living things — from bacteria to plants to animals — and their relationship to their environments. This class study the structure and function of cells, organ systems, and tissues in animals and plants.
【Learning Objectives】
You learn about physiology, behavior, genetics and heredity, pharmacology. This class provides a foundation of understanding in the basic biological sciences.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report and/or in-class contribution(30%), term-end examination (70%).
